Charles Chu founded the Firm on 23rd December 1989. With nearly four decades of legal practice, Charles has advised high-net-worth individuals and corporate clients in over 400 high-value conveyancing and mortgage transactions. His extensive experience includes representing developers in the acquisition of individual properties for land title unification and redevelopment, as well as facilitating the subsequent sale of redeveloped properties to new owners. Furthermore, he frequently acts for major banks in the construction financing of such redevelopment projects.  Details of some of the redevelopment projects and transactions undertaken by Charles are set out below.

In addition to his real estate practice, Charles possesses significant expertise in the mergers and acquisitions of businesses and corporate entities. Particulars of his conveyancing and commercial transactions are available upon request.

Deeply committed to the betterment of the Hong Kong community, Charles served as the School Supervisor of a government-subsidized secondary school for thirteen years and continues to serve on its management board. He currently also sits on the boards of five Section 88 charitable organizations under the Inland Revenue Ordinance.

Since June 1995, Charles has been qualified and active as a China-Appointed Attesting Officer.
